ANURODH DAS
Anurodh Das is an aspiring young historian, author and writer with a deep passion for uncovering and sharing hidden historical narratives. Despite being only 14 years old, he has authored three books including the non-fiction history book titled "VISHWAVIDYALAYA: The Lost Knowledge of INDIA" which is a compelling detailed account on four major universities of ancient India: Takshashila, Nalanda, Odantapuri, and Vikramshila. He has also wrote numerous articles on historical and cultural topics, which have been published on platforms such as LinkedIn, Voices Of Youth - UNICEF, MDPI Encyclopedia, Youth Ki Awaaz, and in a children newspaper named RobinAge. Anurodh writes with the aim of invoking a wider interest in history and culture, particularly among the youth. He also writes travelogues on historical places and museums at Tourism Bharat. In addition to his writing, Anurodh is actively involved in content creation. He runs a YouTube channel named "RODH's ZONE”, in addition to his writing, Anurodh is actively involved in content creation. In his YouTube channel, where he shares content related to history, animations, and current affairs. His channel has garnered a growing community of 1.4k subscribers. For his literary contributions and content creation work, Anurodh has received "Honourable Mention" in RobinAge Bright Sparks Awards 2024-25. With this, he is also a children's council member of Amar Chitra Katha. Furthermore, Anurodh has penned a historical drama screenplay titled "NAWAB-ZADA: A Prince's Chronicles," which he submitted to the Atlanta Film Festival Screenplay Writing Competition 2024. In the Hashtag Kalakar Arts & painting competition 2024, he was in the 69th rank out of all the 500 international and national participants. In addition to this, he was also a journalist of the International Press(IP) committee at the seventh edition of the IIT Bhubaneswar MUN conducted from 8th March to 9th March 2025. His dedication to historical inquiry and education is evident in all his creative and scholarly pursuits.
SCREENPLAY JOURNEY
In June 2023, at the age of 12, Anurodh embarked on writing a screenplay titled "NAWAB-ZADA: The Prince's Chronicles" with the guidance of his mentor, Mrs. Shivani Vakil Savant, aiming to submit it to the Atlanta Film Festival Screenplay Writing Competition. After dedicatedly working on it for four months, by November 2, 2023, when Anurodh turned 13, he successfully completed the script and submitted it for the competition.
EXPERIENCE AT IIT BBSR MUN 2025
I was privileged to be a journalist of the International Press or the IP committee at the seventh edition of the IIT Bhubaneswar MUN. As a journalist, I wrote OPED, Beat-based, and Interview report articles and asked questions in the press conferences and press briefings as a part of the tasks given.
